SECOND SINGLE OFF UPCOMING FULL LENGTH
“The song is a smokey blues-rock track that’s a slow, smoldering tune with a lot of chaotic energy bubbling beneath the surface. The video features a toy car, some stock footage, and some choice shots of Hago dancing on a roof, placing them in an almost noir backdrop against images of an industrial city. The whole thing is a masterclass in subtle emotional content that will leave a distinct lasting impression.” (New Noise Magazine 2025)
DEBUT SINGLE AND MUSIC VIDEO
Debut single from the upcoming full-length album by Sulynn Hago. Post-punk meets Pop. For fans of Ace Ventura and Weekend at Bernie’s.
“Phew, no idea how to frame this. Sulynn Hago, who lives in Brooklyn, makes such an incredible impression with the song “Hot Drunken Steps.” She is an all-rounder in any case: writing, producing, playing guitar and singing and actually covering all genres. You can hear the latter in it too. The edge you hear with a nice bass line, then a far guitar riff and the tight drums… But then you haven’t heard the voice yet because this is also a top sound, not to mention the chorus: an incredibly catchy song, short but powerful. Then comes a bit of chaos or something? So it sways in all directions and to make it work is impressive. Many artists would go off the rails, but Sulynn Hago certainly doesn't. I’m already curious about what else we can expect because it’s clear that this is a more than pleasant introduction!” (SixSuperSaturday Songs 2025)
